Where does GuideGeek®'s information come from?

The answers given by the AI are a blend of AI’s best models (ie. GPT 4o) and your website’s indexed content. Our site indexing feature is the cornerstone to your custom AI. This will allow the AI to prioritize your content first as the AI's knowledge base. If the user's request can't be answered using your content, then the user’s question is opened up to the wider web.

What about brand safety?

We’ve implemented multiple levels of brand safety. We’ve trained the AI to not interact with provocative questioning. Instead it will politely redirect conversations that could be considered ‘not brand safe’ back to providing helpful information about your destination. We encourage you to test GuideGeek®'s brand safety and TRY to get it to say something bad. Try to abuse it or try to make it say something controversial. It won't do it.

What if GuideGeek® gives the wrong information?

First and foremost, the site indexing that we do during onboarding will make the AI a subject matter expert about your destination. Our dedicated success team goes through multiple rounds of testing with you to ensure the AI answers are to your team’s satisfaction. If there are answers that could have been better, we’ll address that through a process called “fine tuning”.

Won't this erode our website traffic?

Quite the opposite. Many DMOs who have partnered with GuideGeek® have reported that GuideGeek® can drive website traffic. Using your site content as the forefront knowledge base the AI will include a link to the content it sourced the information from, efficiently driving your users to their preferred topics. It’s important to note that the AI can be implemented across your Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) as well as on your website. When implementing on your Meta platforms, the AI acts as a traffic driver, and when implementing the AI on your website it doubles as a smarter website search.
