GuideGeek Travel Genius Launches Custom AI-Powered Travel Assistant With Aruba - It’s First In The Caribbean
ORANJESTAD, Aruba — GuideGeek, the artificial intelligence technology from Matador Network, today detailed its latest destination collaboration that is helping travelers explore with more ease than ever. Visitors planning a trip to Aruba now have access to a new AI-powered travel resource, MyAruba Assistant, that can provide in-depth recommendations 24/7 using hyper-specific knowledge derived from the archives of Aruba.com. Available on Aruba.com and WhatsApp and fluent in 45 languages, myAruba Assistant can respond to prompts ranging from singular and specific recommendation requests to personalized itineraries.
“Aruba is such an iconic destination with stunning beaches, of course, but also outdoor activities like hiking and biking, and an incredibly rich culinary scene,” says Matador Network CEO Ross Borden. “MyAruba Assistant helps travelers zero in on the best trip for them, whether that’s relaxing, exploring, or a little of both.”
Travelers can ask MyAruba Assistant to plan an entire itinerary, or answer specific questions about beaches, activities, historical sites, restaurants, hotels and more. The personalized, real-time responses are generated by AI trained on extensive data from Aruba.com as well as over 1,000 integrations for travel information from GuideGeek’s award-winning technology.
“Aruba is always looking for ways to make it easier to plan a trip to our beautiful destination,” said Ronella Croes, CEO of the Aruba Tourism Authority. “With this venture, we are providing our valued guests with yet another tool to enhance their experience of the One Happy Island.”
In adopting the technology, the Aruba Tourism Authority joins destination marketing organizations (DMOs or tourism boards) in other regions such as Greece, Toronto and RenoTahoe.
To access MyAruba Assistant, travelers simply need to visit Aruba.com and click the question mark icon in the bottom right corner, then select “travel inspiration.” This opens a chat window with the AI, which gives tailored responses based on the information users share with it, such as your interests, preferences, size of your group, ages and more. Travelers can also connect with MyAruba Assistant on WhatsApp and take the AI with them as they explore the island.
